The Problem:

Rear-limb amputee canine patients often rely on prosthetics that limit natural movement or create pressure and fit issues over time. The solution needs to be comfortable, adjustable, and practical to manufacture for patient-specific builds.

How might we create a reliable prosthesis to create a second chance for patients with rear leg amputations?

Design Language

Organic. Biomorphic. Conforming.

Design & Development

First steps were to capture an accurate impression of the patient’s limb and record all key measurements. These physical references were used to develop the prosthetic system, ensuring the geometry aligned with the patient’s anatomy.
